With a little bit of TLC…

Welcome to Local Focal! Well, almost…

After searching for the perfect home for this dream of mine—a fabulous marketplace for unique small businesses to come together under one roof—I finally found it. All you had to do was look under the circus color paint and concrete floors, and there was a nearly 3,000 square foot diamond in the rough just waiting to become something new at 310 South Main Street, in downtown Salisbury.

Construction began in September of 2021, so to reach our goal of a soft opening by November required some serious manpower! We enlisted a team of professionals, along with family and friends, to transform this space with all the TLC it deserved.

There were years of history to peel back, including paint, flooring, and more. It required early mornings, late nights, and a fair bit of patience!

Coming in with new hardwood floors—one of my personal favorites of all the new features—added comfort and warmth and now is one the first thing people notice when they walk through the doors. It makes all those hours of hard work removing gunk and breaking up concrete worth it!

There are still two levels of Local Focal to renovate, but for now I couldn’t be happier with how this space is shaping up. I want to share a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make it happen—Local Focal wouldn’t be here without you.
