Family Tradition Woodworking & Design

Introducing Family Tradition Woodworking & Design, founded by veteran Charlie Beeker and his wife Ashley, both first responders!

The Beekers were inspired to start their business when searching for quality, custom furniture.

“When you know exactly what you want, but you can’t find it in any stores, it can be frustrating,” says Ashley. “So, my husband started bringing my visions to life.

“It really took off when Charlie built a crib for his first niece. We sat down and talked about how furniture used to be treasured by families. We still have furniture that belonged to our grandparents, so bringing that level of quality—in pieces people can treasure for generations—is important to us.”

Creating new products and working together is an exciting part of Family Tradition. Charlie and Ashley regularly text each other about ideas throughout the day, and can’t wait to get home to get to work!

Their products include serving boards, cutting boards, wood crafts, furniture, tumblers, shirts, and more, including custom items, of course!

They also donate a portion of all of their dog-themed items to Kreitzer’s Critter Corral Puppy Rescue every year, out of love for their own rescue pups.

Their hope is to build a business that their son can inherit as a 5th generation woodworker!

Shop from their items on the first floor of Local Focal Marketplace next time you’re there.
